Welcome to Kat's Kraftybag Haven!

This (similar to my scarf shop in the winter) is a little confusing so I'm going to give you a quick overview of how this page will work. Ready-to-order bags will be listed toward the top of the page. To purchase one of these just leave a comment with your intrest and we'll talk more! The bottom half will be home to Kat's Custom Crochet, where you can build your dream bag according to your favorite colors, your favorite designs, your size, and more importantly your price range! The is the design for our classic ribbon tote. Can be done in a variety of colors and linings! This particular bag is lined with a beautiful black and red, green and white floral asian print **picture available on request** and includes both a large inside pocket and a cell phone pocket. Build-a-Bag Price Guide

small bags (coin purses, pipe cases, trinketbags) start at $10 shipped,
medium bags (your average purse) at $15
larger bags (such as totes) at $20.
messanger bags (for school books and the like) at $35

Simple felt work (as shown on the "love" & "forever" bags) is:
$2 for small designs,
$3 for medium and
$5 for large designs
$9 for xl designs

Lettering is $1.50

Lining is $5 if you chose from fabric I already have,
or $10 if you'd like me to go hunting for something special =)

Cell phone (or other small) pockets: $1.00
Larger pockets: $3.00

Clasp: This can depend on what kind of closure you're looking for, but it's
rarely more than $3/4 and usually something like $1 or $2.
NOTE: basic crocheted tie closures are FREE!!

It all depends on the size, the amount of detail, how many colors are involved, and most importantly how long it will take to make =) What did you have in mind? Let me know and I'll give you a price!

well i'd want it to be one of those under-the-armpit style purses, lol. with the straps short. then im thinking like a gradiant of pink for the color? maybe with like a felt shooting star sown on? [i dunno if you do that type of thing..].

like this one!
except obviously with much shorter straps.

how much do you think that'd be?

I currently am completely broke, but love your purses. Would you be willing to hold one until I acquire money (Which I should be able to do by the end of the week) or custom make one for me when I'm not quite so broke?

I would positively LOVE to work something out. I know how it is to have little cash-flow, especially in today's world. =)
Custom purses can sometimes take me up to two weeks to work in to my schedule, especially if it requires going out and getting supplies I don't already have. If you'd like to put in a custom order go ahead and do it now. That way I can start working on it, and by the time your money hits my hand I can turn right around and get your order in the mail!

Well, in worst case scenario, if I can't get the money I'm planning on getting, and the purse is made, would it create inordinate amounts of inconvenience for you?

If it wouldn't, I'm still having difficulty making up my mind as to what I'd like, as I love both the white purse and the black and red purse, and I think that the black and red purse would look wonderful in a black and blue combination, and that the white purse would look awesome in black. I'm terrible with decisions! Agh! *tears out hair* ;)

How long is the strap on the Nova purse? I'm rather tall, 5'9"-ish. Do you think it would go across the shoulders? Would you sell me the "Forest" necklace and the purse both for $20-23?

Can you crochet bathing suits? I've seen some real skimpy ones I want online, but they are ridiculously expensive (like, $90-120)! Just curious, it seems like it wouldn't be too difficult since you already have the talent to crochet those lovely bags.

The purse is not lined, or with a clasp, just so you know! It's $15 as is, and if you wanted anything added I could do that for varrying prices. =)

I certainly can! The thing is that with the yarn used in the 'ivory' purse pictured, is that it would *need* a lining so as not to stretch out, which makes it a little more expensive. Still interested?
Also, the Ivory scarf is all yours if you want it!

I would love to help you out, but unfortunately all the seperate parts (bow, eyes, mouth) are sewn individually on to the purses themselves. I don't know how well it would hold up (or if it would work at all) if I tried to put one together without a solid backing.
